Longtime Northfield resident, Ralph Balesteri, 86, passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Penn Presbyterian hospital in Philadelphia. Although born in Yonkers, NY, to the late James & Mary (Boney) Balesteri, he was raised in the Absecon Highlands. Family meant everything to Ralph, and his life was dedicated to raising his three sons. Our deepest condolences to Ralph's family from the Liepe's. Ralph was from the old school --a great ball player, a great friend and most of all so much a family man. I can remember our baseball days -always on opposing team--but he always a person you enjoyed competing against. He in his later years used to come out to our farm and before the cold weather always get some peppers and things to put up for the family. Ralph was just a good person and we know how much his family and friends will miss him. Many of his friends are no longer here and able to pass on their thoughts and Prayers to his family. I hope that the family will get some solace knowing how much he always was loved and admired by us all.

To the Balesteri family, my condolences. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Ralph was a good man whom I had a chance to work with for many yrs at the supply house. He always had a great story to tell, whether it was the grandkids, trips w/mom, or his fishing excursions. They weren't Nat Geo's "Wicked Tuna", but they were entertaining to say the least. He would always have good conversation anytime of the day, & the occasional joke😅 To go with it. Cherish all of the memories that you have made over the yrs, no one can take that from you, or us. Ralph will be missed. (Rev 21:3,4)
